Third Annual Steve Sanchez Memorial Bass Fishing Tournament

The Knights of Columbus, Council 8493, of The Colony, TX., will be hosting the Third Annual Steve Sanchez Memorial Bass Fishing Tournament and a horseshoe contest. The horseshoe contest will be from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Friday, October 6, 2006, with the fishing tournament being held on Saturday, October 7, 2006, starting at 6:00 A.M. and concluding at 3:00 P.M. The tournament will be followed with a cookout and awards presentation at 4:00 P.M.

The events will be held at Hidden Cove Park on Lake Lewisville in The Colony. These events benefit the Knights of Columbus charities such as Christian Community Action, Cystic Fibrosis, the Knights of Columbus Deaf Fund and Holy Cross Catholic Church. We are seeking your generous support in the form of donations of prize merchandise, gift certificates and/or sponsorships. In addition, you are entitled to provide any business cards, flyers, coupons or advertisements or promotional/logo merchandise for display, hand out or for inclusion in the merchandise raffle. Donated prizes or gift certificates will be listed and announced.

Our Fishing Tournament will include hourly cash prizes for the largest fish weighed in each hour. There will also be a merchandise raffle in conjunction with the awards presentations.

Early entry fees are $80.00/boat (two person limit per boat) through

October 1, 2006, and $120.00/boat after that date. Tickets are available from any committee member listed below.
