The event is entitled "My Matisse," and it is the next performance in Amphibian Stage Productions' "Phibs at the Modern" reading series.

My Matisse is written by Howard Ginsberg, directed by Tamilla Woodard and stars Anne-Lynn Kettles.  The reading takes place on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 7pm at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth (3200 Darnell St.)

My Matisse traces the arc of Henri Matisse's life through the stories of seven women who love and suffer with Matisse as he becomes increasingly consumed by competition with Picasso.  Touching, funny, and often heartbreaking, we come to know this Modernist master as each woman lays claim to "My Matisse - Matisse et moi."

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $5 for students.  For tickets and more information, please call 817-923-3012, write toboxoffice@amphibianproductions.org or visit www.amphibianproductions.org.
