Hello! My name is Dr. Brett Wood, and I am a
Chiropractor here at Venn Family Chiropractic.
A little history about my self begins with
growing up in the small town of Cedar Hill, Tx from which I also
graduated high school. After graduation, I went on to the University
of Texas in Arlington and it was at that time in my life that I
discovered my passion for health, fitness and nutrition. I started
as a Personal Trainer at 24 Hour Fitness with the intention to
pursue a career as a Physician’s Assistant. My great friend, Dr.
Jason Venn, was attending Parker College of Chiropractic, and began
to open my eyes to the true meaning of Chiropractic and what it has
to offer. Then, I started to pursue a more “natural” way of
healthcare and also found a strong passion for Chiropractic. I
developed my passion even further when I decided to specialize in
the Gonstead Technique. Many lunches and weekends were devoted to
perfecting my skill in this style of practice. In August 2004, I
proudly received my Bachelors in Anatomy and Doctorate in
Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic. Since then, I have
continued my education through reading many books and research
articles on health and nutrition, attending numerous seminars and as
a persistent student of my passion. My mission is to further my
education in order to provide my patients with the best quality of
care there is to offer. What is truly beneficial to the health of my
family, friends, and patients is the driving force that I keep in my
heart to help people make a more “PROACTIVE” health decision and
open their eyes to the true world of Health and Wellness! |
